<title>Responsible AI : The Intertwine Between Latour's Actor-Network Theory, Aristotelian Conditions of Responsibility, and Dooyeweerd's Modal Aspects</title>

<description>Responsible AI : The Intertwine Between Latour's Actor-Network Theory, Aristotelian Conditions of Responsibility, and Dooyeweerd's Modal Aspects
Alinurdin, David
Currently, the discourse surrounding Artificial Intelligence often revolves around two polarising viewpoints. Exaggerated beliefs in AI’s intelligence have led to the idea of anthropomorphised AI as a new digital species. Nevertheless, there are concerns regarding the potential of AI to pilfer personal data, stifle creativity, eradicate livelihoods, and maybe lead to the downfall of human society. In order to avoid both approaches, which are either fearmongering or fawning towards AI, I propose an approach that emphasises the crucial involvement of humans in designing, training, and implementing responsible AI. My proposal is built on the integration between Latour’s Actor-Network Theory (ANT), Dooyeweerd’s modal aspects, and Aristotelian principles of responsibility. The first step is to identify the actors (human and non-human) and their modal aspects. The second step is to map the interactions between actors within the network. The last step will apply the Aristotelian principles of responsibility (knowledge, control, and freedom) to each actor. By combining these three perspectives, we can establish a framework for responsible AI based on Aristotelian principles, taking into account the constraints of each actor’s modalities and their collaborations within the network of systems.; Watch on YouTube: &#13;

<title>Perjanjian Lausanne 1974: Revitalisasi Missio Dei Evangelikal</title>
<link>https://repository.seabs.ac.id/handle/123456789/1518</link>
<description>Perjanjian Lausanne 1974: Revitalisasi Missio Dei Evangelikal
Mamahit, Ferry Yefta
Paradigma misi evangelikal sering dipahami secara sempit, bersifat salvific. Artinya, misi yang hanya menekankan usaha penginjilan dengan cara mengonversi (menobatkan) atau menyelamatkan “jiwa-jiwa yang terhilang,” orang-orang yang belum percaya kepada Yesus Kristus. Ada dua alasan umum di balik penekanan yang demikian: pertama, tafsir misiologis terhadap beberapa teks Alkitab (Mat. 28:19-20; Mrk. 16:15; Kis. 1:8) yang, menurut Joel Nichols, berbicara soal “ekspansi misi Kristen yang masif ke seluruh dunia;” dan, kedua,pengaruh teologi dispensasional, khususnya eskatologi yang menekankan percepatan&#13;
kedatangan kerajaan 1000 tahun (kerajaan milenial Kristus yang hurufiah) melalui proyek-proyek pemenangan jiwa atau penginjilan yang agresif, seperti yang disinyalir oleh Andrew Bush. Karena itu, misi evangelikal telah distigma sebagai salah satu dari varian-varian misi Kristen yang agresif, dikotomis, sempit dan tidak mengubahkan.  Pertanyaannya, apakah benar demikian? Meski ada beberapa fakta dan data pendukung, pemahaman di atas tampaknya tidak sepenuhnya benar dan perlu diubah. Perjanjian Lausanne 1974 telah menggeser paradigma misi evangelikal, dari misi yang bersifat parsial, sempit dan kurang berdampak transformatif menjadi lebih utuh, luas dan mengubahkan. Argumentasi utama tulisan ini adalah bahwa perjanjian ini sesungguhnya telah merevitalisasi misi evangelikal. Perjanjian Lausanne telah membawa misi evangelikal bergerak dalam sebuah trayektori yang berusaha mencari titik keseimbangan di dalam idealisme misi Allah (missio Dei) itu sendiri. Hal&#13;

<title>Scriptural Literacy in Muslim-Christian Reading of the Scriptures Together : Significance, Challenges, and Opportunities in the Indonesian Context</title>
<link>https://repository.seabs.ac.id/handle/123456789/1395</link>
<description>Scriptural Literacy in Muslim-Christian Reading of the Scriptures Together : Significance, Challenges, and Opportunities in the Indonesian Context
Mamahit, Ferry Yefta
Reading Muslim-Christian scriptures together is a form of interfaith dialogue. It engages the scriptures’ interpretation by identifying the text’s plain sense to address a particular topic or issue. However, the activity may become a mere cognitive exercise, emphasising intellectual authority and expertise in understanding the text. Given this situation, the paper proposes the inclusion of scriptural literacy in the reading process. It is a competence attained through collective exploration and interactive communication of the textual meaning. It includes reconstructing, reiterating, and extracting both the (written and oral) text from the participants’ situated argument and context. Scriptural literacy aims to share a collective sense of knowledge and experience, work together in dealing with a particular issue, and set strategies for doing so (or use them in the most effective ways). The paper intends to demonstrate scriptural literacy’s significance in developing participants’ capacity to use the text (and its discussions) to analyze and transform their social relations. It also highlights some challenges from common and current religious practice in the context, such as exclusive scriptural reading, apologetical/polemical dialogues, dominant religious authority, and single/hegemonic textual interpretation. Finally, the paper perceives that scriptural literacy may offer Muslims and Christians opportunities to attain impactful reading of their scriptures in the Indonesian context.
